Ticia Bernuth Agri
Born in Manhattan in September, 1944, Ticia Bernuth was educated in New York City and Europe.
In fulfillment of her dream “to see the World” she embarked on a period of bare-bones travel in 1965 and visited a total of 72 countries in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
In May of 1969, Ticia joined the production team as Assistant to Michael Lang, playing a key role in the original Woodstock: 3-Days of Peace & Music.
In the aftermath of Woodstock '69, Ticia worked on festivals in Atlanta, Puerto Rico and the Isle of Wight, before setting down in a home near the village of Woodstock in upstate New York.
She began studying meditation, yoga and T’ai Chi, trained at The Arica Institute and completed the original EST training.
Ticia also discovered Structural Integration [aka Rolfing after it's creator, biochemist Ida Rolf]. She decided to become a Rolfer.
Upon completing her Bachelor’s degree, she enrolled at The Rolf Institute. After graduating with Advanced Certification, Ticia worked as a Rolfer for 25 years.
In 1980, Ticia married neurologist and restaurateur Joe Agri. They had two children, Adriana and Adam.

Further expanding her healer's tool-set, Ticia earned certifications in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Integrative Manual Therapy, studied Plant Spirit Medicine and trained in Shamanic Healing, receiving a certification to teach in 2007.
In 2009, Ticia was portrayed by actress Mamie Gummer in the Ang Lee film Taking Woodstock, which was released to coincide with the 40th Anniversary of the Festival.
Currently, Ticia divides her time between her home in mid-coast Maine and visits to her friends and family in the U.S. and abroad.
